‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ Director Bryan Singer Teases Casting Additions, Including Colossus!

hollywood-movie-newsJust a few hours ago, director Bryan Singer sent the internet a buzzing with a new image he posted to his Twitter account. The image features casting photos for X-Men: Days of the Future Past. I’m sure you asking yourself, okay, we know most of the cast so far. And that is true, but if you look closely at the image you will see three additional faces to what we know so far. One of the three faces that many seemed to recognize right away was the photo below Patrick Stewart towards the middle. That would be Daniel Cudmore, aka Colossus from X2 and X-Men: The Last Stand. I for one are really happy to see that, Colossus is one of my favorite X-Men characters, so, I’m pretty excited to see him return. Cudmore can be most recently seen as the Master Chief in the live-action Halo 4: Foward Unto Dawn web-series.

Now the other two photos were a little more difficult to figure out. And over at ComingSoon.net they did some snooping and figured out who they are. The woman to the right of Cudmore is Fan Bingbing, a Chinese actress best known for films Battle of the Warriors and Double Xposure. Now, they are claiming that Bingbing will be playing the role of the teleporting mutant known as Blink. They don’t cite where they got that information though. Lastly, the photo to the right of Bingbing is actor Boo Boo (Booboo) Stewart, known for his role in The Twilight Saga. There is no information about whom he will be playing. X-Men: Days of the Future Past is set to release on July 18th, 2014. (Source: Twitter)

UPDATE 3/18: Deadline is reporting that Bryan Singer tweeted that Fan Bingbing was cast in the role of Blink, but it looks like that Singer deleted it, or they are misreading something.
