We Have Failed As Nerds & Geeks, Paramount Gives ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ A Sequel

hollywood-movie-newsWell despite all the complaining and descriptive words, we have failed as geeks and nerds. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles opened in theaters this weekend to an estimated $65,000,000. Apparently that was enough for Paramount to greenlight a sequel too according to a report from Deadline.

The sequel will arrive in theaters on June 3, 2016. It will once again be produced by Michael Bay, with his Platinum Dunes partners, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller, along with Galen Walker and Scott Mednick. Screenwriters Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec will be returning too. It is unclear if Jonathan Liebsman will return as the director too.

Way to go everyone, your curiosity got the best of you. Now we get more of these Bay inspired Turtles to look at.
