We Can Stop Worrying Now, Stan Lee Says He Will Have Cameo in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’

hollywood-movie-newsBack in January, Stan Lee said during an episode of Dweebcast, that he would not have a cameo in Marvel’s upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy movie.

“No, I’m afraid not, that’s the one group I didn’t create. I didn’t write Guardians of the Galaxy. I’m not even sure who they all are. I can’t wait to see the movie.”

Well now, during C2E2 this weekend, it has been revealed in responding to a fan’s question, he does in fact have a cameo.

“I did, already,” he responded to the question at his panel. “I can’t tell you what it is, but I can tell you I do not understand what it was or why I did it. It has me with a girl — a very pretty girl — that’s all I can tell you.”

So don’t worry, Stan “The Generalissimo” Lee will be returning with his silly cameo. I know you were concerned, almost freaking out. I know I was.

Guardians of the Galaxy is directed by James Gunn and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, John C. Reilly, Karen Gillan, Glenn Close, Djimon Hounsou, Benecio Del Toro, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper and Gregg Henry, it is set to be released in theaters on August 1, 2014. (Source: Variety)
