Warner Bros. to Develop a ‘Minecraft’ Movie

hollywood-movie-newsI suppose this should have been seen coming, but that still doesn’t make you say, why? It is being reported that Warner Bros. has acquired the movie development rights to Minecraft! Apparently the success of The LEGO Movie has inspired this announcement.

Based on the popular video game, producer Roy Lee, will be creating a live-action adaptation of the open-world property played by millions. Lee was one of the producers of the successful LEGO Movie in theaters now. No other details are available at this time. Will be interesting to see how they do this. (Source: THR)
