[RUMOR] Warner Bros. Looking For Some Diversity In Batman Vs. Superman? Could We See Cyborg Make A Cameo?

hollywood-movie-newsFirst lets just say this is a rumor and fan wishful thinking, but that doesn’t mean it couldn’t happen. What am I talking about? Well according to Latino Review, Warner Bros. is searching for “currently looking for a black actor in his early 20s who is also physically fit.” And it doesn’t stop there, it also says that “the part is for a small role in the untitled Batman Vs Superman movie BUT will be recurring in other upcoming DCU films.

So, who could they be looking to cast for? John Stewart? Well Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has supposedly already been in talks for that role and why wouldn’t the WB try to secure him for it? The other possibility is Victor Stone, aka Cyborg. In DC Comics, they have really been pushing Cyborg to the front, he is now one of the founding members of the New 52 Justice League. Cyborg was also used in the Justice League: War animated movie (but to be fair that was based on the New 52 comic series).

Could Warner Bros. be looking to give Vic Stone a brief origin cameo, then bring him back for their Justice League film? Sounds logical. The untitled Man of Steel sequel, Batman Vs. Superman is due to arrive in theaters on May 6, 2016. (Source: Latino Review)
