‘Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’ Pushed Back To 2016

Ouch. This just plain hurts. Naughty Dog studios has announced today that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has not only been delayed, but pushed back all the way to spring 2016. Naughty Dog released this statement today.

“Since we showed you our first gameplay reveal of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, more of the game and story have come together, and it’s become clear to us that this game is much more ambitious than we originally envisioned,” write directors Bruce Straley and Neil Druckmann. “This game deserves every bit of the attention to detail, precise pacing, and nuanced storytelling Naughty Dog is known for.”

Since this title could very well be the last entry in one of the greatest franchises in gaming history, I think many will agree that we want the game to be the best it can be. Ultimately, this delay will only make the game better. That said, this still hurts and leaves a big void in many gamers fall game time.
