Today some of the first details for Hasbro’s next Transformers animated series have been revealed. It will be titled, Transformers: Robots In Disguise, and will premiere on The Hub channel sometime in the spring of 2015. Robots In Disguise will feature the voice talent of Darren Criss (Glee), Constance Zimmer (House of Cards), Mitchell Whitfield (TMNT) and Ted McGinley (Married with Children).
The new series will introduce a redesign for Bumblebee, along with introducing new Autobot characters, Sideswipe and Fixit. Criss will provide the voice for Sideswipe, while Whitfield will bring Fixit to life. As previously revealed, the show will take place years after Transformers Prime. It will feature Bumblebee, who is summoned to save Earth from a new faction of Decepticons and assembles a rogue team of young Autobots that includes: a rebel bad boy bot, an elite guard cadet, a bombastic Dinobot and hyperactive Mini-Con to capture their new enemies.
