This month has been all about Batman from DC Collectibles. This includes a few new figures from the Designer Series that we have seen released, including this fantastic looking Greg Capullo Commissioner Gordon. Based on his appearance in page of Batman drawn by artist Greg Capullo, this figure looks like it jump right off the comic book page.

The figure stands 7″ tall and features 16 points of articulation. Even though there is a decent amount of articulation on the figure, it still doesn’t allow for a variety of posing with it. It is limited by the sculpt in a few ways (shoulders and lower legs), but this certainly isn’t a bad thing in my eyes. The sculpt looks fantastic and certainly makes up for this short coming. Besides, it’s Gordon, he just needs to stand there and look all badass.

It comes with a couple of accessories, a pistol and a walkie-talkie. The Glasses are permanently attached, which is a good things because I’m sure they’d get lost pretty easily. The coat is a soft vinyl on the body, which allows it to flex a little. The upper body looks to be mostly new sculpt, where the lower — the waist down — is shared between Riddler and Red Hood too.

The Designer Series Greg Capullo Commissioner Gordon is available now at specialty stores and comics shops with a SRP of $24.99. You can pre-order it from online retailer BigBadToyStore for $21.99, plus shipping.
