When asked who I thought was the stand out at this year’s Toy Fair, I without a doubt said DC Collectibles. They have definitely delivered this year with so many great reveals they are hard to beat. When I saw the new Designer Series figures featuring more based on Greg Capullo’s work and the addition of Amanda Connor with a Harley series, I just started to throw my money at Jim Fletcher as he gave us the lowdown on the product.
I am still continually amazed by their Batman: The Animated Series offerings, as well. This line has grown into a powerhouse with so many great figures on the way, including the Batman Beyond 2-pack, Christmas Joker, Clayface and more. It’s also worth noting that DC Collectibles listens to fans. When the team read the fan feedback about the Deluxe Batmobile set, they decided they would look at pricing just the figures and Bat Signal out for those of use who already purchased the Batmobile. We appreciate that.
The DC Comics Icons continues to be a game changer for DC Collectibles. They revealed some new figures, including the new Batgirl of Burnside deluxe figure with motorcycle! Also shown are the first of two accessory packs that have some really great items for many previously released figures.
The recent announcement of their new DC Film line looks to be the one to watch as they will be producing many premium quality figures based on the many great DC movies coming our way, along with some that have passed like Man of Steel.
As we went around the room, I was continually in awe at what DC Collectibles was planning for 2016 and into early 2017. You can check all of it out in the gallery below, but be forewarned, your wallet and bank account might start weeping.
