Toy Fair 2015 – Hasbro Marvel

Yesterday afternoon Hasbro held their annual Toy Fair Press Event at the usual off site location. It felt like a strange year going into it knowing that some lines would not be shown (G.I. Joe), or at least very little shown (Star Wars). Next to Transformers this year, Marvel was the big winner with a ton of new Marvel Legends figures revealed.

First up is the Marvel Legends figures. A lot of this we have known or heard rumblings of with some detective work that some have done on the web. So this may or may not be new to you. Kicking it off is the Marvel Legends Avengers Wave 2: Captain America, Batroc, Hulk, Iron Man, Spider-Woman, Hellcat and the BAF, Thanos.

Next up is the Marvel Legends Avengers Wave 3. Featured in this wave is: Dr. Strange, Blizzard, Vision, Marvel Now Iron Man Black and Gold, War Machine with alternate Flip helmet head, Thundra, Valkyrie. BAF is seriously big Hulkbuster, that is checking in at around 9”.

We will also be seeing a Marvel Legends Ant-Man Wave, which will include: Ant-Man with small Ant-Man and Yellowjacket, Wasp, Grim Reaper w/new body mold, Tiger Shark, Giant Man, Bulldozer, BAF is a 9” Ultron Prime. Also coming for Ant-Man fans is a 3.75″ figure with flying ant, both are articulated. Look for Ant-Man Mashers as well.

Spider-Man returns with more Legends figures. Keep an eye out for Spider-Man Legends Wave 2: Ghost Rider, Scarlet Spider (Classic), Chameleon (w/ J. Jonah Jameson & Hammer Head interchangeable alternate heads), Misty Knight, Kraven, Superior Venom, White Tiger and the BAF is Rhino (comic w/ alternate head).

The Marvel Infinite 3.75” Series continues with Scarlet Spider, Chameleon, Gold Ultron, Deadpool (Blue and Yellow), Emma Frost. There will also be a Toys R Us 3.75” multipacks with Captain America and Black Widow, along with Iron Man Mk 43 and Nick Fury. Some decent stuff, but really starting to not look so good for the fan favorite 1/18th line of action of figures.

There will be some 2015 Exclusives, some of which are available for pre-order now, like Entertainment Earth’s Titan Hawkeye and Iron Man (blue and white suit). Walmart will have a Hulkbuster role play set.

For the Marvel Legends collectors, Target will have a Legends 3-Pack with Hulk, Vision, and a new comic version Ultron. Amazon will also have a 4-Pack featuring Age of Ultron movie versions of: Thor, Bruce Banner, Hawkeye and Black Widow.

For me there was some definite cool looking figures. A lot of the Legends figures looked fantastic. Sadly though, that is a lot of $20 figures to come out in 1 year. Going to be hard to stay on top of that. Regardless, enjoy these Hasbro Press Event Showroom images, there are some real gems in there.
