Right before Christmas, Latino Review reported that Avengers: Age of Ultron would have a second villain. According to their report, Baron Wolfgang von Strucker would also be going up against the Avengers. For those that don’t know who he is, he at one time was a Nazi officer and is now one of the leaders of the terrorist organization known as Hydra.
Now, THR is reporting that Thomas Kretschmann, who plays Abraham Van Helsing on NBC’s Dracula (has that been cancelled yet?), has signed on for the Avengers sequel. Now they don’t cite Kretschmann as playing Von Sturcker, but if you put two and two together, it kind of tells the story itself. The Avengers: Age of Ultron is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 1, 2015. (Source: THR)
