The ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ Are Heading To Planet Venom

comic-book-newsOver at MTV.com, they have posted some details about an upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy storyline. This November, writer Brian Michael Bendis and new regular series artist, Valerio Schiti, take the Guardians to the home planet of Spider-Man’s evil symbiote, Venom, for the first time in Marvel History.

The 3-issue story arc begins in Guardians of the Galaxy #21. We will learn that there is something wrong with the symbiote that Flash Thompson, the current Venom, is wearing. Bendis is keeping most of the details on this story arc, “close to the vest.”

I’m enjoying the current run of Guardians of the Galaxy, but I will admit it was a total head scratcher when Bendis recently added Agent Venom to the team. Just wasn’t understanding how he goes from being on the Thunderbolts with Red Hulk, Punisher, Elektra and Deadpool, to hanging out in space with the Guardians. Maybe it become a little clearer after this storyline. (Source: MTV)
