The on and off again development of Amazon, the Wonder Woman prequel television series, is now officially off. CW President Mark Pedowitz said at his Wednesday session at the Television Critics Association’s winter press tour, that The CW is no longer is developing the Wonder Woman prequel series — at least not right now.
“It all depends on the script. We were very careful with Arrow, and we’re being very careful with Flash,” Pedowitz said of the Stephen Amell series and Grant Gustin Flash pilot in the works at the network. “These are iconic characters, so we’re going to be very careful with Wonder Woman. You only get one shot before you get bit.”
Sounds like that even though it is “dead” now, that if the right story were to come along it could see life again. Even thought Wonder Woman won’t be appearing in a new series, we still have Arrow, the upcoming Flash and possibly Hourman from the DC Universe. (Source: THR)
