The 2010 A-Team movie was met with mixed reactions, and it barely made any profit after a worldwide total. You could basically say it was a flop by most blockbuster film standards. The word today from Variety is that 20th Century Fox TV is looking to reboot the fan favorite 80’s series once again, and this time as a TV series once again. This new A-Team series will be a contemporary take on the famed NBC series, keeping with the times, this version is reported to possibly include female American Special Forces members.
Attached to the project are Fast & Furious writer-producer, Chris Morgan as executive producer. He is joined by Tawnia McKiernan, the daughter of Stephen J. Cannell — one half of the original series creators — along with Sleepy Hollow EP, Albert Kim. This project is still in the very early stages, so no casting has been done yet and no date for a premiere either.
