So, AMC Has Greenlit ‘Breaking Bad’ Prequel Series, ‘Better Call Saul’

television-news-and-talkWell Breaking Bad may be nearing its end, but that doesn’t mean that will be the last we see of Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk). It looks like AMC has greenlit a Better Call Saul prequel series. AMC says, the spinoff will be a one-hour prequel that will focus on the evolution of Odenkirk’s character, Saul Goodman, before he ever became Walter White’s lawyer. Thought AMC hasn’t elaborated on the project’s status, Deadline has learned Better Call Saul has a series order pending an agreement between AMC and Sony TV. Breaking Bad’s creator Vince Gilligan has been interested in a Saul Goodman series for a while now,

“I would love to see a Saul Goodman spinoff,” he said in a July 2012 interview. “I like the idea of a lawyer show in which the main lawyer will do anything it takes to stay out of a court of law. He’ll settle on the courthouse steps, whatever it takes to stay out of the courtroom. That would be fun — I would like that.”

Even thought we dont’ know Saul’s fate yet on Breaking Bad, looks like he still has a little more life left in him. Looking forward to seeing what we get.(Source: Deadline)
