S.H. Figuarts Tony Stark Begins Tamashii Nations’ Hall of Armor Project

S.H. Figuarts Tony StarkTamashii Nations is building a 6-inch scale Iron Man Hall of Armor and their S.H. Figuarts Tony Stark has been tapped to oversee the project.

The S.H. Figuarts Tony Stark is based on Robert Downy Jr.’s portrayal of the playboy inventor in Iron Man 3. The figure comes dressed in the t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers Stark wears when developing and testing his various Iron Man suits. Tamashii Nations’ Tony Stark will include interchangeable limbs featuring the Iron Man Mark 42 armor, giving the appearance that Stark is testing the suit pieces. These interchangeable parts will be limited to the first run of the figure only. Also included with Tamashii’s S.H. Figuarts Tony Stark is a power stage pedestal seen in Tony’s workshop. The pedestal will be the central point for the Hall of Armor Tamashii has hinted at in its publicity photos announcing the Figuarts Tony Stark.

Pre-orders for the S.H. Figuarts Tony Stark will open on May 20 in Japan. The figure is priced ¥6,480 (about $59) and is scheduled for an Oct. release.
