S.H. Figuarts Luke Skywalker Jedi Knight Gets Release Date, Price Info & New Photos

S.H. Figuarts Luke Skywalker Jedi Knight

Tamashii Nations has provided release date and price information, as well as new photos of the third figure in it’s S.H. Figuarts Star Wars line, Luke Skywalker Jedi Knight.

Based on Mark Hamil’s role as Luke Skywalker in Return of the Jedi, the S.H. Figuarts Luke Skywalker Jedi Knight figure stands in at a 6-inch scale and includes two switch-out portraits–resting and “aggressive”– as well as two different hair styles–combed and wind-swept. The face and hair parts can be mixed in any combination. While the wind-swept hair looks great, unfortunately, it’s not screen accurate. The blowing hair is intended to recreate Luke’s iconic stance on Jabba’s sail barge during the Battle at the Pit of Carkoon where Luke was wearing a tunic, however, the S.H. Figuarts Luke figure does not include a tunic. Despite the oversight, the figure look promising and will have an accompanying lightsaber and interchangebale hands. As a bonus, a Sebastian Shaw styled Anakin Skywalker head is included for use with the S.H. Figuarts Darth Vader figure, which ships this year.

The S.H. Figuarts Luke Skywalker Jedi Knight figure is priced at ¥5,940 with an August 25 release date. Pre-orders for the figure open on April 2 in Japan.
