It’s been a long time coming, but Tamashii nations has finally set a release date for their S.H. Figuarts Han Solo figure.
Based on Harrison Ford’s portrayal as the smuggler-turned-hero in 1977’s Star Wars, the S.H. Figuarts Han Solo figure has made the rounds at numerous toy and hobby events throughout Asia over the last year. Han, will join Luke Skywalker, who was recently released, as the second figure from Star Wars leaving only Chewbacca as the final holdout from the initial reveals in the Star Wars line. While fans were asked not to photograph the trio, several photos made their way onto the internet making the wait excruciatingly long.
Tamashii’s Figuarts Han Solo is scheduled for a Feb. 2017 release. Further details about the figure haven’t been revealed, but Han’s trust DL-44 heavy blaster pistol is included with the figure, which features a working holster and Tamashii’s mix of aesthetics and articulation. The figure stands in a 6-inch scale.
