Results of Second Lego Ideas Review for 2014 Announced

The results of Lego’s second Ideas review for 2014, where fan created sets are considered for production as Lego products sold around the world, are in.

There were eight sets up for consideration this review period including the Assault on Wayne Manner, Invisible Hand, X-Men: X-Mansion, Star Wars Lightsabers, UCS AT-AT, Ghostbusters Headquarters, the Hubble Telescope, and winner Wall-E by Ideas member McClaine.

In addition to Wall-E, a winner was selected from the two Doctor Who sets that were still in consideration from the previous review period, in November 2014. The winning Doctor Who set is Doctor Who And Companions by Ideas member AndrewClark2.

The next Lego Ideas review phase is already underway with nine new projects in consideration, thought one–the Avenger’s Helicarrier–is out of the running since it was already announced as an official Lego product earlier this week. Selections for the next phase will be announced in May 2015.

Lego Ideas, formerly known as Lego Cuusoo, has resulted in the production of fan proposed sets such as the DeLorean Time Machine from Back to the Future and Ghostbusters Ecto-1.
