Prototype Armor Boba Fett Figure Confirmed as Walgreens Exclusive

Prototype Armor Boba Fett Figure
StarWars.com is confirming Hasbro’s Black Series 6-inch Prototype Armor Boba Fett figure is coming to Walgreens, exclusively, this fall.

Based on character design concept art by Ralph McQuarrie and Joe Johnston, the Prototype Armor Boba Fett was used to screen test the Boba Fett costume before evolving into the more colorful version we’re familiar with today. The images suggest Hasbro’s Prototype Armor Boba Fett figure is a re-paint of the latest 6-inch Boba Fett figure sans any tooling updates.

Pre-orders for the Prototype Armor Boba Fett figure start during San Diego Comic-Con.

Dear. God. My friend will buy 3 of these. Just found the regular one on the TRU shelf on Saturday. Felt a bit surreal.

  • I love it. Boba Fett is a favourite of mine. Still haven’t looked for the Regular one yet but I will. Now When do we find out who’s stocking it Here?

    • I’m sure they’ll have the answer to that at SDCC. This is a pass for me. Non-screen repaints don’t do it for me.

      • I hope so. I wouldn’t normally go for this sort of thing but knowing the history and Boba Fett being a cool character It’s a want. It looks like a good figure as well.
