First announced during San Diego Comic-Con in July, Marvel revealed that the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. would soon be getting their own comic book counterparts. As of now, Agent Coulsen is the one of the current team to be featured in Marvel Comics. But come December that will all change. The new S.H.I.E.L.D. comic book series will be written by Mark Waid, who will be joined by a rotating art team that will include Carlos Pacheco on the first issue, along with the likes of Chris Sprouse and Alan Davis on future issues. The artists will be rotated based on a one or two-issue story arc they are drawing. The first issue of S.H.I.E.L.D. doesn’t come out until December 31st, but we have a look at the covers that will be available for the issue. One of them has already been floating around, but I believe the others are all new. Check them out below.
