Official Images of Hasbro’s Iron Man 3 “Iron Assemblers” Figures

toy-news-and-talkI’m sure by now you have seen these images at various sites, I’m just playing catch up from weekend break (hey, everyone needs to take one from time to time). So as you may or may not have known Hasbro and Hunter PR sent out images of the first official Iron Man 3 figures from Hasbro. The images are of the “Iron Assemblers” 3.75″ action figures. These are not the main line of movie figures, but something that Hasbro thought would be something kids (and maybe some adult collectors) would be interested in. Each figure is part of an Interchangeable Armor System. This means you can swap parts with other “Iron Assembler” figures in the line to create your own unique Iron Man armor. Among the images are the first six “Iron Assemblers” of a line-up that will feature 16 total. There are various Iron Man armors, plus Iron Patriot (Blue, Silver & Red) and War Machine Movie Version (Black & Silver). These will be available in the spring along with other great Iron Man 3 product. We will have more images of these and the other product, from Toy Fair next month. So stay tuned for more information. • Just terrible looking, and not very encouraging in terms of pricing if these are sitting at a $9.99 MSRP.

    • For the most part I agree, but this line of “Iron Assemblers” is definitely intended for kids. There is supposed to be a main line of 3.75″ IM3 figures too.

  • bamphalas

These look horrid and look even cheaper than the Family Dollar budget figures, yet they are the price of the nicely articulated ones. I will pass on these without a second thought. Ugh.
