Good Smile Company had some surprises up their sleeves revealing new Figma and Nendoroid figures, and statues at New York Comic Con.
Prior to NYCC, Good Smile announced Figma Link and Zelda figures based on the Twilight Princess video game. At NYCC Good Smile revealed another Figma figure based on a Nintendo property, this time a Metroid Prime 3 Samus Aran figure. But, what may be the biggest surprises from GSC’s Figma line were the P-body and ATLAS prototypes shown from Valve’s Portal 2 video game.
In addition to the Figma figures, a fully painted version of Good Smile’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredder statue, based on an original rendering by artist James Jean, was revealed. Shredder will fit in with Good Smile’s turtle statues and should be up for pre-order shortly.
Finally, Good Smile held a panel at NYCC revealing photos of a fully armored Mega Man X, complete with arm cannon effects, for their stylized Nendoroid line.
