Non-Cloudlike Galactus Concept Art from ‘Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer’

hollywood-movie-newsFilm Sketchr, a blog is about the often unseen world of concept design and storyboarding in science-fiction films and television, has come across some concept art from 2007’s Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. What is so interesting about this concept art is that is shows a different Galactus from what was in the final version of the film. As you may recall, the Galactus in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer was a giant cloud like “thing”. But according to these concept art images from artist Daniel James Cox, the giant humanoid version of Galactus that most fans are familiar with was considered at one point. Why they didn’t go through with it is anybody’s guess. So check out what could have been with a few of the images mirrored below and more over at Film Sketchr. (Source: Film Sketchr)
