New ‘Transformers 4: Age of Extinction’ Poster Has Landed

hollywood-movie-newsParamount released another Transformers 4: Age of Extinction poster today. Once again the poster features Lockdown’s ship, along with Mark Wahlberg and Nicola Peltz in the foreground.

I have to wonder why they are not utilizing the Transformers themselves to promote this movie. Seems they keep focusing on the humans. Regardless, check out the new poster below.

Transformers 4: Age of Extinction is directed by Michael Bay, starring Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Sophia Myles and T.J. Miller, and is scheduled to be released on June 27, 2014.

I think it is a combination of things as to why they are not really promoting the ‘bots. We are all pretty familiar with the main hitters (BB and OP), and I think they know that. They are trying to focus on the actors, I would suppose, to show that the talent is different, and that there may be something there that was not due to the other cast. A lot of people I talk to still say “What?! Mark Wahlberg is in it? What happened to Shia?!” So, I guess I can see where they are coming from with that. Still, its a Transformers movie, and we should be seeing Transformers. But, the fandom is going to pick apart everything we see, so does Bay all ready know he doesn’t have to do much other than show a Pagani here and Bugatti there, have a T-Rex blast through a wall, and stuff like that? Not to mention all the stuff that is going to eventually happen, like the Toy Fairs and things like that where we will automatically get info. I agree, its odd, but it is kind of working.

    • I suppose so. Just weird to not see much of any of the bots yet. I guess it will come in due time.
