New ‘Marvel’s Avengers Assemble’ Image

television-news-and-talkIt was announced last year that at the end of Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes season 2, that the show would be ending. It would be then replaced with a new animated Avengers series, Avengers Assemble. Since then not much has been mentioned of it until earlier this year we learned of premiere date. A one-hour preview (most likely the first two episodes) will be shown on Sunday, May 26th at 11am EST on Disney XD. The show would then premiere in its regular slot on Sunday, July 7th at 11am EST inside the Marvel Universe block.

In the first part of the special preview, Captain America (Roger Craig Smith) has been supposedly destroyed by the Red Skull. Iron Man (Adrian Pasdar) then decides to get the band back together and calls upon the Hulk (Fred Tatasciore), Thor (Travis Willingham), Hawkeye (Troy Baker), Black Widow (Laura Bailey) and Falcon (Bumper Robinson) to stop the Red Skull and M.O.D.O.K. from destroying New York City.
