Growing up, when I first saw Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, I was so excited. It was a movie that totally fit into what I liked. Futuristic sci-fi with crazy over the top characters. Then I eventually saw Mad Max and Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior . I still remember my high school art teacher playing The Road Warrior on my last day of school my senior year.
When I first heard about them making Mad Max: Fury Road, I was a bit skeptical, but at the same time excited to see Max return to the big screen. There hasn’t been a lot to report on the upcoming reboot/sequel, but thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we have some new images to check out. These images and cover come from the July 4th issue of Entertainment Weekly. You can check them out below.
Mad Max: Fury Road is written and directed by “Mad Max” creator George Miller, it stars Tom Hardy as “Mad Max” Rockatansky, Charlize Theron as Imperator Furiosa, Nicholas Hoult as Nux, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and others, it is set to arrive in theaters on May 15, 2015.
