A comic series that could kind of sums of the ’90s comics era could probably be Jason Pearson’s, Body Bags. With a 4-issue mini-series, a couple of one-shots and a handful of short stories, the over-the-top violence of the father-daughter assassins series and extreme characters perfectly captured the era. At least to me and I don’t mean this as a bad thing at all. It is still one of my favorite series, by one of my top favorite creators.
Well both Pearson and his Body Bags series are back. Clownface and Panda have returned for another mini-series, subtitled Vicious. The new series will be written and drawn by Pearson, and he is looking to color the series too. There is no set release date, but I would expect Body Bags: Vicious to arrive some time next year.
