[RUMOR] Nathan Fillion To Voice Cosmo, The Talking Cosmonaut Dog in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’?

hollywood-movie-newsThe answer is yes, according to sources that SchmoesKnow.com is hearing from. Fillion has a small part, and is doing a favor for director James Gunn. Last Friday, a rumor had Nathan Fillion in the role of Nova, making a small cameo. As much as I love that idea, this makes more sense to me. Especially since Cosmo is the head of security at Knowhere, which we have seen in the trailers.

With the upcoming movie referencing a lot from the more recent Guardians of the Galaxy comic books, having Cosmo in the movie just seems very likely. In the comics, Cosmo, a telepathic and telekinetic Soviet space dog originally lost in the Earth’s orbit in the 1960s, and Rocket have some great and humorous exchange of dialogue. Hopefully this rumor turns out to be true, and we get some funny moments from it.

Guardians of the Galaxy is directed by James Gunn and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, John C. Reilly, Karen Gillan, Glenn Close, Djimon Hounsou, Benecio Del Toro, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper and Gregg Henry, it is set to be released in theaters on August 1, 2014. (Source: SchmoesKnow)
