Microsoft (Finally) Gives Xbox One An Official Release Date

video-games-gaming-newsMicrosoft announced today that the Xbox One will be available on November 22nd in North America, including 11 other smaller regions/countries as well. The system will launch with several titles including exclusives Forza 5, Ryse: Son of Rome, and Dead Rising 3. Many around the gaming nation are quite surprised since its competitor, Sony’s PS4, will be launching a full week sooner and a hundred dollars less to boot. My thoughts? Seems many have forgotten that the Xbox 360 was less expensive and launched before the PS3 and that didn’t exactly guarantee Microsoft as the console war victor, especially with the red ring of death controversy over rushed manufacturing. Either way, I am happy that the excitement of the next generation is finally catching steam. (Source: GameInformer)
