Michael Bay To Develop Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Movie

hollywood-movie-newsUbisoft has been on a role this year with getting some of their properties into movie deals. Their latest property to make the jump from console to the big screen is Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon. And announced today, famed director Michael Bay will be developing the Ghost Recon movie for Warner Bros., hopefully for a franchise for the studio. Ghost Recon joins the previously announced projects, Assassin’s Creed and Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell. Ubisoft is looking for a writer, and hopes that if interested enough, Bay will want to direct the film. So they hope to have a writer and start casting announcements sometime next month. Hopefully it will be as cool as this Ghost Recon Alpha video (see below) that was created to promote the Ghost Recon Future Soldier video game. (Source: Variety)
