Say what you will about the man, but apparently Michael Bay is a man of second chances. Back in 2010, Megan Fox called out Michael Bay publicly, saying, he was a nightmare to work for, along with some other choice words. This was before Transformers: Dark of the Moon started shooting, and she was soon fired and replaced for the third Transformers movie. Now today, it appears Bay is a man willing to forgive, as he has announced that Megan Fox has been cast in the upcoming live-action/CGI Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. It was posted to his website this evening:
TMNT: we are bringing Megan Fox back into the family!
Variety also reports and confirms the role of April O’Neil:
After pushing production to do more work on the script, Paramount’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” reboot looks back on track as the studio has tapped Megan Fox to star as April O’Neil.
I can only imagine the rage of some TMNT fans right now, but hey, you can’t argue with the fact that Transformers would not be where it is today without Michael Bay. Like it or not. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot is slated for a May 16th, 2014 release. So what do you guys think? Since she is cast in the role of April O’Neil, do you think she fits?
