More Mattel San Diego Comic-Con Exclusives Revealed

Cyborg

Three more Mattel San Diego Comic-Con exclusives come our way via reveal at MattyCollector.com. Joining the previously announced DC Universe Classics Doomsday, Masters of the Universe Classics Hordak with Imp and Monster High Manny Taur & Iris Clops 2-Pack are the Batman Arkham Knight Batmobile, DC Comics Total Heroes Ultra Cyborg, and Disney / Pixar Cars 2014 Special Edition Neon Racers Gift Pack.

The Batman Arkham Knight Batmobile is based on the Batmobile’s appearance in the Arkham Knight video game and includes lights and sounds from the game. The engine revs, the headlights flash on and pressing the top of the vehicle downward reveals an arsenal of firing weapons. Included with the Batmobile is a DC Comics Multiverse Arkham City Batman with soft cloth cape, allowing the figure to sit in the driver’s seat. For those unfamiliar with the DC Multiverse, the figures are in the 1:18 or 3-3/4-inch scale. The Batman Arkham Knight Batmobile is $85.

An homage to Kenner’s Super Powers Cyborg figure,  the Total Heroes Ultra Cyborg includes two interchangeable heads–classic and Total Heroes stylized–three sets of hands, a kitchen sink of tools and gear and his trusty Jetpack with Airfoil Wings. Ultra Cyborg is $25.

We’ve found that every San Diego Comic-Con we’ve attended, Mattel has at least one item that’s packaging make us smile. Last year it was the Batman Classic TV Series Batusi Batman doing his ’60s jig. This year it’s shaping up to be the Disney Pixar Cars Lightning McQueen and Shu Todoroki Neon Racers gift box.  The diorama style window box illuminates a neon glow, with the Toyko skyline in the distance. A die-cast Lightning McQueen and Shu Todoroki  racing through the streets round out the diorama, which is $50.

All of Mattel’s San Diego Comic-Con exclusives go up for pre-order at MattyCollector.com starting June 24, for attendees picking up their collectibles at Comic-Con. They’ll also be available for purchase at the show for those of you willing to brave the lines. Non-attendees can grab their con exclusives after Comic-Con at MattyCollector.com on August 5.
