Masters of the Universe Classics Club Eternia 2015 Subscription Period Begins

The Masters of the Universe Classics Club Eternia 2015 subscription period begins today, on, and as we enter the final year of the MOUTC line Mattel is pulling out all the stops to ensure the collection crosses the finish line strong.

This year’s Club Eternia 2015 subscription period runs from June 27 – August 18, but unlike previous years the  Club Eternia 2015 subscription has a limit. Once that limit is reached, no further subscriptions will be sold so there is a chance the subscription period may not reach its August 18th deadline. The total commitment for the 2015 sub totals $570–not all at once, of course.

The 2015 breakdown includes a $1 price increase for each monthly figure ($26 each, $28 for non-subscriber day-of purchases), plus the following extras: four beasts/variants/multi-packs shipped approximately one each quarter (2 items at $52, 1 variant @ $26, and 1 item at $42) and one “year-end” item at $60, plus a $26 membership fee covering the subscription-exclusive figure. When you place your order, you only pay for the subscription exclusive and first figures, plus shipping and any applicable tax. The total comes out to just under $70 depending on your state’s tax rate. As an added bonus, if you subscribe before June 25, you’ll receive a free set of stackable stands (a $15 value).

With San Diego Comic-Con around the corner, collectors are pinching their pennies, but there are many benefits to subscribing to Club Eternia.  If you’re the savvy cherry-picker, there are ways to capitalize on Club Eternia benefits such that you aren’t settled with extra undesirable figures at a financial loss. First, all sub orders ship first. Second, subscribers who place orders before July 25 will receive a free set of stackable display stands. Finally, with Early Access privileges collectors will have the first chance of picking of customer service stock of 2014 favorites (Two-Bad, Modulok, or Extendar), not to mention post-San Diego Comic-Con must-haves like Monster High and Hot Wheels.
