Yesterday, Marvel announced some additional casting for the upcoming Netflix Daredevil series. One of which was previously known, but the others (as far I know) are new. Appearing in the first season are Rob Morgan (“Person of Interest,” “Believe”) playing Turk Barrett, who on occasion has used the Mauler and Stilt-Man armors to fight Daredevil. Also appearing this season is Matt Gerald (“Avatar,” “Dexter”) will play Melvin Potter (aka The Gladiator), a machinist caught between a rock and a hard place.
In addition to Morgan and Gerald, is previously revealed Peter Shinkoda (“Falling Skies,” “Hawaii 5-0”) as Nobu, a Japanese businessman with an agenda all his own; along with Wai Ching Ho (“Law and Order: Special Victims Unit,” “Blue Bloods”) as Madame Gao, a powerful woman running her own trade; and Nikolai Nikolaeff (“Camp,” “Sea Patrol”) and Gideon Emery (“Grimm,” “How to Train Your Dragon 2”) as Vladimir and Anatoly, two Russian brothers looking to forge new names for themselves in America.
Marvel’s Daredevil stars Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Scott Glen, Elden Henson, Vincent D’Onofrio, Rosario Dawson, Peter Shinkoda. The first season will be premiering on Friday, April 10th on Netflix.com.
