‘Man Of Steel’ Flexes At Box Office, Plus a Sequel In 2 Years?

hollywood-movie-newsWith the report from MSN confirming Man Of Steel box office debut taking in $125 million, news around the web is already speculating that not only will the sequel to Man Of Steel be fast tracked to be arriving in theatres in 2014, but to lay down some more DC groundwork for the assumed 2015 summer Justice League juggernaut. Dan Fellman — the Warner Bros president of domestic distribution — had this to say when asked about the future of the DC film franchises…

“It’s more than just a franchise for us, it really opens up the door to do combinations of the DC Comics characters. We can build them up like Marvel did and benefit from the history of DC.”
