Following up on the popularity of their Disney Minifigure line, LEGO is adding a little more Disney magic to their product offering announcing a 4,080 piece LEGO Disney Castle.
Modeled after the iconic Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla., the LEGO Disney Castle features the building’s intricately detailed facade with stone bridge, clock, wide arched entrance, ornate balconies, and spired towers. The main building stands four stories tall with a golden-spired main tower adding a fifth story. Accessible rooms in the castle include features inspired by some of Disney’s animated films such as a removable roof section that opens to reveal a glass slipper and fairy-tale book with printed cover, a chest with book of spells, mop and bucket; a golden mirror, red apple and glass vase; a pair of frogs and a golden crown; and a 2 stud shooters at the balcony to create your own firework display. Altogether the castle measures in at over 29 inches tall, 17 inches wide and 12 inches deep.
Five minifigures are included with the set: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and Tinker Bell and LEGO line of Disney blind-bag minifigures are also compatible with the castle.
The LEGO Disney Castle is available for pre-order at the LEGO Shop. It’s priced $349.99 and is scheduled for release on Sept. 1, although we’re hearing rumblings that LEGO stores have some set aside for purchase now for LEGO VIP members.
