LEGO has announced a new line of building sets inspired by the Warner Bros. animated series DC Super Hero Girls.
LEGO will launch its DC Super Hero Girls line in North America on Nov. 27, with three sets that include the Batgirl Batjet ($24.99), Harley Quinn to the Rescue ($29.99), and Super Hero High School ($79.99). Three additional sets–Lashina Tank ($14.99), Bumblebee Helicopter ($14.99), and Wonder Woman Dorm Room ($19.99)–will join the lineup in Jan., when the brand launches globally.
LEGO’s DC Super Hero Girls minifigures are designed in the “mini-doll” style made popular by the LEGO Friends line. Mini-doll figures of such DC heroes, and anti-heroes, as Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Supergirl, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy are included with the sets and even Supergirl’s dog Krypto gets his own figure! Each set also includes “suspicious” Kryptomites in a variety of colors.
The LEGO DC Super Hero Girls sets will debut at New York Comic Con between Oct. 6-9. In addition to the sets, LEGO will have life-sized models of DC Super Hero Girls Supergirl and Harley Quinn on hand in New York, as well as daily prize drawings. Can’t make it to NYCC?
