Sony Pictures Australia released a new international trailer for the Ghostbusters reboot film with Aussie actor Chris Hemsworth getting a larger share of screentime.
Hemsworth plays Kevin the team’s receptionist who’s hired on-the-spot thanks to his good looks. The actor retains his Aussie accent in his role as Kevin, who’s been tasked with redesigning the Ghostbusters logo. The result of Kevin’s effort is both a comedic and self-deprecating reference to the team’s all-female makeup, which stirred up some controversy among a few long-time fans of the franchise.
Ghostbusters is directed by Paul Feig and stars Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, in addition to Hemsworth. It opens in theaters July 15.
