Kotobukiya Reveals Edward Scissorhands Bishoujo Statue

Kotobukiya Edward Scissorhands Bishoujo StatueKotobukiya is cutting the ribbon off their latest Bishoujo statue based on the 1990 Tim Burton cult classic Edward Scissorhands.

Hinted at as recently as Toy Fair in Feb, Kotobukiya’s Edward Scissorhands Bishoujo statue joins their blossoming line of beautiful female statues, which span across a variety of licenses, including anime, comics and video games. Having previously bent genders with their Jason Voorhees and Freddy Krueger Bishoujo statues, the mad-scientist created Edward Scissorhands is a natural fit in the line.

Koto’s Edward Scissorhands Bishoujo statue is designed based on an illustration by Shunya Yamashita and stands with the awkward charm emoted by the Johnny Depp played character, in the feature film. The statues stands in a seventh scale at 9 inches tall and comes on a special themed display based. Featuring a gothic-style outfit with tall boots, long gloves, and shredded skirt, the statue is characterized by the iconic hand shears.

Kotobukiya’s Edward Scissorhands Bishoujo statue is available for pre-order at the Official Koto Shop for $89.99. A pre-order exclusive keepsake card will be included, as a bonus, for those ordering through the Koto shop. The statue is schedule for release in Nov.
