Josh Brolin to Voice Thanos in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’

hollywood-movie-newsSome very interesting and great news from Latino Review today. They have reported that Josh Brolin will be the voice of Thanos in Guardians of the Galaxy! We have known for a while that Thanos will be in the movie, even though Marvel has yet to show us that, but he’ll be in there. And up to this point, he has only made a brief appearance in the end credits of The Avengers.

Guardians director James Gunn has already mentioned that his movie is tied into Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Marvel is working their way up to making Thanos the big bad that everyone faces off against. Both The Wrap and Variety have confirmed with sources, but Marvel and reps for Brolin have not commented. I really like Brolin as an actor, and Thanos is my favorite Marvel villain so this is a win-win for me. What about you? What do you think?

Guardians of the Galaxy is directed by James Gunn and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, John C. Reilly, Karen Gillan, Glenn Close, Djimon Hounsou, Benecio Del Toro, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper and Gregg Henry, it is set to be released in theaters on August 1, 2014. (Source: Latino Review)
