With the premiere episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. featuring Maria Hill (Colby Smulders), the only other top S.H.I.E.L.D. agent missing is the man himself, Nick Fury. Played by Samuel L. Jackson in the Marvel movies, Jackson himself said he would love to be on the show. Well based on some information that Comic Book Resources has put together, it looks like we could end up seeing Nick Fury at the end of this week’s episode, “0-8-4″ in typical Marvel movie fashion, after the credits.
A promo that aired on Sunday featured the S.H.I.E.L.D. logo that appears to be sporting an eye patch, part of Fury’s signature look. Series executive producer Joss Whedon has even said in an interview he would love to have Jackson on the show if they could work it out. So have they worked out the logistics to have Nick Fury appear on the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? Guess we will find out Tuesday, October 1st at 8pm EST/CST on ABC! (Source: CBR, via MarvelousNews)
