hollywood-movie-newsAre you curious about how The Amazing Spider-Man sequel will turn out on May 2? No need to wait. This morning my spider-senses alerted me that their was an early review courtesy of IGN! This is the part that I would normally go into detail of the review some more, but unfortunately I can’t bring myself to witness any review, for any of the summer blockbuster on my “can’t wait” list. But you are welcome to check it out. Enjoy!

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is directed by Marc Webb and stars Andrew Garfield, Jamie Foxx, Paul Giamatti, Emma Stone, Chris Cooper, Dane DeHaan, Martin Sheen and Sally Field, is set to be released in theaters on May 2, 2014.

I love Spider-Man. Next to X-Men, that is what I grew up with. I wish I could be excited for these movies, I just am not. I loved the original 2, and the first Amazing Spider-Man was ok. It just isn’t bringing anything to the table that is new or refreshing. They are trying to re-tell the story without really making it stand out. I enjoy Andrew’s Spider-Man a lot, I think he has the right character for Spidey, it’s just the movies are not all that great. The choices they made for Rhino and Goblin don’t really make things better for them, either. Really wondering how Venom and Sinister-Six are going to play out. We’ve always wanted these movies, but who knows if we are going to WANT them.

    • At first I didn’t like ASM a whole lot, but since then with repetitive viewings, it has really grown on me. I still appreciate the original Spider-Man movies, but I really didn’t like Toby McGuire. Something about him just erked me.

I’m still in a wait and see mode for ASM2. I hoping it won’t feel crowded villain wise, and I’m hoping I won’t totally hate the Rhino.
