Henry Simmons and Kyle MacLachlan Added To Cast Of ‘Agents of SHIELD’

television-tv-news-and-talkTwo more have been announced as casting additions for Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. today. The first casting addition is Kyle MacLachlan, who has been cast as Skye’s father. Something that was hinted and discussed about in the first season, it looks like Skye will finally be reintroduced to her long-lost dad.

The second new cast member will be Henry Simmons who has been cast in the recurring role of Alphonso “Mack” Mackenzie, a mechanic in his 30s. The character is inspired by the character that first appeared in NICK FURY VS. S.H.I.E.L.D. #3 comic book.

MacLachlan and Simmons join other casting additions, Lucy Lawless (Isabelle Hartley), Reed Diamond (Daniel Whitehall), and Nick Blood (Lance Hunter). Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D returns on Tuesday, September 23, now airing at 9pm EST on ABC. (Source: Marvel & TVLine)
