Hasbro 2013: Avengers Assemble, Iron Man 3 and Ultimate Spider-Man Toy Lines

toy-news-and-talkCame across some interesting Hasbro/Marvel toy news today. Toy blog Idle Hands has come across some Hasbro retailer information in regards Avengers Assemble, Iron Man 3 and Ultimate Spider-Man toy lines. Now, I’m not sure if the arrival dates are just US, or internationally too. (Note: I found the article via a .co.uk URL, not being familiar with the site I assumed it was from the UK. I was mistaken.)

It is reported there is a toy line coming in January 2013 based on the upcoming Avengers Assemble cartoon and will be done in an animated style. Most likely something like Star Wars: The Clone Wars figures, featuring characters like Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Hawkeye, Thor and more.

Hasbro Marvel Avengers Assemble: Assortment of 15 new 3.75 inch Avengers animated style figures in 2013 blister packaging. Expected January 2013. Wave 2 in February, Wave 3 in March.

Next it is reported that Iron Man 3 figures will be arriving in February 2013 with 14 “connectable” figures, with multiple interchangeable parts to create a vast amount of customization.

Iron Man 3 Iron Assemblers Action Figure Assortment: 14 “Connectable” figures (wave 1, Feb 2013) with multiple interchangable pieces to deliver maximum customization. Wave 2 in March and Wave 3 in April. We are betting these are 3 and 3 quarter inch.

There will also be two vehicles, one in February and another in March. Along with 10-inch Arc Strike Iron Man figures, that will features lights and sounds. There will be two figures, Iron Man and Iron Patriot. These two will be featured in the 12-inch Hero Series too, as vehicles that transform through a “flip and attack” feature. And there are some role play items such as an Iron Man and Iron Patriot mask, arc reactor and more mentioned.

Lastly, there are a 6-inch and 3 3/4-inch line of Ultimate Spider-Man figures mentioned, arriving in January and February 2013. And like the Iron Man line, there will be various feature rich Spider-Man figures and toys, including a line of Ultimate Spider-Man Pods figures (the little 1-inch figures).
