In-Hand Images of Transformers: Age of Extinction Deluxe Class Wave 1 Figures, Including Dinobots Scorn and Slug

toy-news-and-talkI’m not going to lie, pretty much the only reason I’m interested in the new Transformers movie is because of the Dinobots. The same can be said about the figures based on the movie. The designs are a little out there, but still pretty darn cool looking.

Thanks to TFW2005 boards member megatroptimus whom has posted some in-hand reviews of the recently released (in Canada at least) Transformers: Age of Extinction Deluxe Class Wave 1, we have a great look at the upcoming figures. This includes Crosshairs, Slug, Scorn, and High Octane Bumblebee.

I’ve mirrored a few of the images here, but a ton more to check out in each thread for the individual figures. There is also a look at the Voyager Class Grimlock figure with the Deluxe Wave 1 Dinobots. These will be arriving at retail sometime in the coming weeks, if not earlier depending where you live. The designs are interesting. They are very different Dinobots. I would like them a lot more if they were not so bright and different than what’s on screen. Im really hoping for a more G1 related color scheme for these. That was my biggest problem with the Predacons for Transformers: Prime. Just too dang bright. Maybe these will be more for the older kids and the collectors will have Hasbro’s blessings with a different set.

    • I can see how it would be a tuen off, I’m ok with it though. I could definitely see them doing repaints with more subtle colors, possible G1 inspired.
