‘Gotham’ Finds Its Riddler With Cory Michael Smith

television-tv-news-and-talkThis latest casting announcement for Gotham seems fitting for today, being April Fools’ Day and all. Fox and Warner Bros. have revealed that they have cast Corey Michael Smith< /strong> in the role of a young version of Edward Nygma, aka The Riddler.

The young Edward Nygma is described as, “being a brilliant young forensic scientist working for the Gotham PD with a penchant for speaking in… rather cryptic language. Inquisitive, eccentric and outgoing — yet socially awkward — he wants to be liked, but he doesn’t quite know how.” Smith joins the Gotham cast of Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue, Jada Pinkett Smith, Drew Powell, Robin Taylor, Sean Pertwee, Zabryna Guevara, David Mazouz, and Camren Bicondova.
