First Trailer for Denzel Washington’s ‘The Equalizer’

hollywood-movie-newsOne thing I can say with certainty is that I have never been let down by a Denzel Washington movie. I think Man On Fire is one of my favorite action movies, and Safe House was pretty darn entertaining too. Even his older movies I can watch at any time and be happy with too. So when I see that he has a new movie coming out, I’m going to take notice.

The Equalizer, based on the ’80s TV series, looks like it will be pretty good action movie too. The description is as follows:

Washington headlines as McCall, a former black ops commando who has faked his death to live a quiet life in Boston. When he comes out of his self-imposed retirement to rescue a young girl, Teri (Chloë Grace Moretz), he finds himself face to face with ultra-violent Russian gangsters. As he serves vengeance against those who brutalize the helpless, McCall’s desire for justice is reawakened. If someone has a problem, the odds are stacked against them, and they have nowhere else to turn, McCall will help. He is The Equalizer.

The Equalizer is directed by Antoine Fuqua and stars Denzel Washington, Chloë Grace Moretz, Marton Csokas, David Harbour, Bill Pullman, Melissa Leo, The Equalizer arrives in theaters on September 26, 2014.
