First Look at ‘Jurassic Park 3D’ Toys, Includes the Mystery G.I. Joe Sculpt Figures!

toy-news-and-talkLast month during Toy Fair, there were some rumblings about a new line of Jurassic Park toys. This was mainly sparked by all the supposed Jurassic Park prototype figures we saw on eBay over the last year and a half or so. Many of these figures were repainted G.I. Joe figures. With no mention of the line from Hasbro at Toy Fair, many were left wondering what going on with the line. Was what we say just some leftover prototypes from a cancelled line or were we going to see something some time soon? Well Chris Pugh (aka @demoncarnotaur) on Twitter was most determined to get some answers. And he did manage to get some. At the time, he found out there would be a limited line of toys for the re-release of Jurassic Park in 3D that is coming out next month. Then there would be a new toy line for Jurassic Park 4 when that is released next year. Now, Chris has come through once again with some intel on the Jurassic Park line, he has come across some images that were posted at JPToys.com. The images show figures that are of the latest prototypes we saw on eBay. So it looks like they will finally see the light of day. Or at the very least, a few of them will. The Jurassic Park 3D line will be a Toys R Us Exclusive, and should be arriving at stores very soon. Thanks to Chris Pugh for the heads up on this information. (Source: JP Toys)
