Evangeline Lilly in Talks for Marvel’s ‘Ant-Man’ Female Lead Role

hollywood-movie-newsThe casting for Marvel’s upcoming Ant-Man movie continues. According to Variety, Marvel is in early talks with Evangeline Lilly for the female lead role. Details still are mostly unknown, but some insiders say the role is for the daughter of Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Scott Lang’s (Paul Rudd) love interest. Those that are familiar with Pym’s history will immediately tell you he doesn’t have a daughter in the comics, so this is a possible change for the movie.

Most fans will recognize Evangeline Lilly from her role on TV’s Lost or even more recently in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. Ant-Man is directed by Edgar Wright, and so far starring Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas, it will be released on July 17, 2015. (Source: Variety)
